Annual Cayucos School Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale Celebrates 22 Years of Holiday Tradition and Student Travel

CAYUCOS, Calif. — The Cayucos community is gearing up to celebrate a beloved local holiday tradition as the Cayucos School hosts its 22nd Annual Christmas Tree + Wreath FUNdraiser. Bringing fresh holiday cheer to coastal homes and local businesses, the annual sale raises funds to support local students.

Every dollar raised directly benefits Cayucos School students, fully funding the upcoming 8th-grade Class trip to Yosemite National Park.

Farm-Fresh Evergreens Direct from Oregon

For over two decades, the fundraiser has provided premium, farm-fresh evergreens brought straight from Oregon down to the Cayucos coast. Harvested just a day before arrival, the trees are loaded, trucked overnight, and delivered directly to the Cayucos School lot. In some years, snow still rests on the branches as they are unloaded.

The quality of these trees is on public display across town each year, including the iconic Cayucos town tree located at the corner of Ocean Avenue and D Street, as well as holiday decorations at Schooner’s Wharf and On the Beach Bed & Breakfast.
