School Site Council/LCAP

Falcon Families,

It’s that time of year when we begin planning—together as a school community—for the needs, programs, and supports that will help all of our students thrive. One of the key ways we do this is through the development of our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).

Our 2025-26 LCAP Committee Members: Kelsey Reynoso (Parent), Grant Swanson (Parent), Wendy White (Parent), Pat Hibbard (Parent), Nicole Parry Hibbard (Parent), Joann Montgomery (Teacher), Jeff Held (Parent), Sarah Brown (Teacher), and Jen Gaviola (Superintendent).

The LCAP is a three-year plan that outlines our district’s goals, actions, services, and expenditures, all designed to support positive student outcomes and address both state and local priorities. As a small district, this process also serves as our School Site Council, and the LCAP incorporates the requirements for the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).

The LCAP is more than just a compliance document—it’s a tool that allows us to share how, what, and why we choose certain programs and services to meet the specific needs of our students, families, and staff. The components of the LCAP for the 2025–2026 school year will be posted as one comprehensive document in the following order:

  • LCFF Budget Overview for Parents

  • Plan Summary

  • Engaging Educational Partners

  • Goals and Actions

  • Increased or Improved Services for Foster Youth, English Learners, and Low-income Students

  • Action Tables

Your voice matters. Parent and community input is essential to creating an LCAP that reflects the values, strengths, and priorities of our Cayucos School community. We invite and encourage you to attend our upcoming LCAP meetings to share your ideas, ask questions, and stay informed.
